Many brands who shot their advertisements in March, right before the lockdown, have found themselves in a tight spot.

But Burger King India has come up with a clever solution. The brand has launched its old advertisement titled, “Old ad. Old Joke. Old Price.”

Way before COVID-19, Burger King India invited actor Rahul Bose to Santacruz restaurant to taste their paneer rice bowl. Towards the end of the interaction, they offered 2 bananas free to Rahul Bose and recorded his reaction.

Initially, he was hesitant to taste the bowl but later seen relishing the Rice Bowl. He highlighted that he cannot finish this on his own. The price is worth the quantity and quality.

Burger King started this campaign with a banana image and pun and later revealed this advertisement. It all started after an incident when Rahul Bose was charged a big amount for just two bananas by a five-star hotel. Then Burger King played a masterstroke with this advertisement and got the spotlight. And this advertisement was so effective that made their paneer bowl launch so successful.

In this they used the clever concept of marketing i.e., best marketing doesn’t look like marketing.

So, what are you waiting for try the Burger King paneer rice bowl and feel like a king.
